Iran Air has inaugurated its first-ever Quetta-Zahedan-Mashhad route, marking a major milestone in regional connectivity. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, called the service a “long-standing demand” that will strengthen business, tourism, and people-to-people ties. The maiden Airbus A319 flight landed at Quetta International Airport on Friday, with one weekly service planned initially. The launch comes as Pakistan restricts road travel for pilgrims to Iran and Iraq for this year’s Arbaeen pilgrimage due to security concerns.
