AJK IT Board Launches AI & Prompt Engineering Internship for Youth
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Information Technology Board has kicked off a one-month voluntary internship program at the Kashmir Institute of Management (KIM) for graduates of its recent four-month training course.

Starting Monday, the program focuses on practical skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Prompt Engineering, preparing participants to apply these competencies in the public sector. The launch session featured an overview of KIM’s mission, program structure, and hands-on workshops.

Key speakers included Tariq Mehmood Butt, Abrar Ahmed, Muhammad Rashid Hanif (AJK Secretary of IT), and Dr. Muqeem-ul-Islam (DG KIM). Hanif highlighted the importance of arming youth with advanced tech skills, while Dr. Islam lauded joint efforts to boost governance through research and training.Participants will receive formal experience certificates upon completion, marking their enhanced skills and real-world exposure.
