
KP Reports 44 New Dengue Cases, Total Rises to 133 in 2025
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has confirmed 44 new dengue cases across multiple districts in the past week, raising the province’s total for 2025 to 133 cases. So far, 99 patients have recovered and 44 remain under treatment.
📍 District breakdown:
Charsadda: 54 cases (highest)
Abbottabad: 17 cases
Upper Chitral: 11 cases
Other affected areas include Peshawar, Bajaur, and Lower Dir.
Earlier this year, CM Ali Amin Gandapur instructed officials to implement a Dengue Action Plan 2025, focusing on preventive, promotional, and curative measures ahead of the peak season. Authorities stress that proactive action during the dormant period is key to minimizing infections.
